Frank Rijkard’s future with Barcelona seems more and more uncertain after Barca was upset again tonight in the La Liga. They played with town rivals Espanyol and the final result was a 1 – 1 draw. Barcelona seemed to control the game especially after the early goal signed by Andres Iniesta.
A hilarious event occured towards the end of the first half as Xavi struck the crossbar from the free kick and Bojan did the same from the rebound with a header. Coro equalized for Espanyol in the 69th minute after a speedy attack.
Barcelona are 3rd at the moment in the La Liga standings, 4 points behind leaders Real, while Espanyol rank 4th with 2 points behind.
