Argentina saw themselves trailing again after Perea’s back-heal but as in the previous game against the USA they came back fast on the score board and in the 19th minute Crespo equalized out of a penalty shot just before he injured himself. The halftime showed a 3-1 lead for Argentina after Riquelme’s doppietta. The Argentinian number 10 scored two beautiful goals, the first one with a header and the second one out of a free kick. Later in the second half Castrillion reduced the difference with a corner kick header with Millito setting the final score in the last game minute.
