Brad Davis scored a hat trick in the Houston Dynamo win over Chivas USA on Thursday. The game ended 4-0 and brought the second place for Dynamo in the Major League Soccer’s Western Conference standings. They sent yesterday’s rivals on trailing on the third spot.

The hat trick represented Davis’s first three goals of the season. Mullen opened the score when he gave Dynamo Houston the 1-0 lead after just six minutes in the game. Davis’s show began in the second Half as he managed to score three times in a 20 minutes time frame. His last goal came after a penalty kick in the 75th minute. The defeat for Chivas, was their worst in the clubs history.
The away team had to play a man down after Shavar Thomas was red carded in the middle of the second half. The score was 2-0 for Dynamo at that time.

A few impressions from the Dynamo vs Chivas game
Brad Davis after his hat trick:

“I can’t really describe it. I keep saying it’s been a long time coming since I’ve scored a goal, and tonight three came, so it’s a pretty good feeling for me,”
“We needed guys to step up and score. Normally, I’m on the other end of the ball serving it in, but tonight I wanted to score some goals. It was a good night for me.”

Perki Chivas’s coach says:

“I think, obviously, the better team won outright,” .
“From the first minute of the game, you could tell that they were the team that wanted it more than us, and they came for 90 minutes.”

Houston coach Dominic Kinnear says:

“Congratulations to Brad for his first career hat trick,”.
“His first goal was absolutely stunning. But, I think he played and moved on the goal like he did, where he chases the ball down like he did, shows the mood that the guys brought to the game tonight.”
