Race for the Primera, Day 35

Deportivo

Sevilla
Recreativo de Huelva

Real Madrid

Atletico Madrid

Barcelona

All 3 top spanish teams involved in the battle for the primera have to play some difficult away games in this Day 35 of the league. After this weekend we could have a better picture of the final league table standings. This means that Real could brake away, or that Barca will return to the top spot and even that Sevilla will lose the contact with the 1st position.
Sevilla has a hard game if we take in consideration that they played on wednesday the Uefa Cup final for 120+ minutes and celebrated for the trophy. I don’t know how fresh and concentrated Palop and Co. will be and this gives Deportivo a good advantage. If Sevilla won’t win at la Coruna it will be almost out of the race for the title and this adds some extra presure on the players. So let’s wait and see if they can fight and win more battles in the same time.
Real Madrid is the team that was always behind the leaders for the whole season. They managed last weekend to climb on top of the Primera and it seems that they have all the ace’s in their hands. They depend only on their results. Meaning that if they win all 4 remaining games they will win the championship for sure even if Barca or Sevilla have the same results. Real is not engaged in any other competitions and can concentrate on the league title.
On the other hand Barcelona is on pressure. The Primera title is the only achivable trophy for the last years best team in Europe. They where leading the championship and seemed a big favourite for winning it. Fans are not satisfied about their last games performance and they have to play a difficult away game with Atletico Madrid.
So let’s wait and see what happens! :)
